Temple
School in Strood was one of the first schools
to develop an engineering workshop in the Gateway.
Working with Mid Kent College and the Gateway Knowledge
Alliance, the new workshop at Temple School helps
learners to build up the new skills needed by automotive
engineers, including knowledge of computerised control
systems as well as the mechanical components of vehicles.
The Centre
provides skill-based courses for learners from
14 to 19, as well as adults who want to use the centre
to bring their skills up to date.
