Kent Science Resource Centre

GKA worked with their partners to establish a new centre for the training of laboratory technicians in Kent Science Park. Learners are able to study for a foundation degree or for qualification at NVQ Level 3 while picking up valuable laboratory experience with the employers in Kent Science Park.

The new facility provides a welcome avenue for vocational training which also suits learners to jobs in the NHS, colleges and schools.  

Recent funding from CLG and SEEDA has enabled our partners to build new lab facilities on the site. In the future we are hoping that the centre will be the focus for work with providers and employers in the South East
