Kent
Science Park in Sittingbourne is establishing itself
as a major centre for technology transfer, particularly
in the Biological Sciences, as well as a centre for
business across the County and the South East. The park
already houses a variety of small, innovative companies
as well as major multi-nationals such as Pfizer.
GKA has
linked with the SEEDA Enterprise Hub, KNTI and Canterbury
College to equip a conference centre and state of
the art learning facility in the Science Park. This
has enhanced a facility that already offered ICT training
through KNTI, enabling it to accommodate large groups
and provide classes for many of the businesses located
on the Park. The Centre was opened by the Duke of
Kent on 23rd March 2005.
