GKA and Swale Forward have been working with their partners to find capital and revenue funding to support this SEEDA funded project. The Gateway has taken over an old DIY warehouse on the road between Queenborough and Rushenden to create a community learning centre. It already hosts courses on fork lift truck driving, regeneration and computer skills as well as providing a venue for youth and community projects in the area.

Working with Amicus, Sheppey College and the Island Partnership we are hoping to expand the range of courses available at the centre.
