North West Kent College has a well established reputation for the excellence of its work in Media Studies, Drama and Graphic Design. Many students from the College go on to start their own small businesses that allow them to continue to build upon their talent and training.
GKA applied for SEEDA funding which enabled the College to build ten incubation units for small businesses in the tower blocks in the College. These units support newly formed businesses in the Creative Industries and provide them with access to expertise in Business Studies as well as Creative Studies. The incubation units have been fully occupied since 2006.
