A centre of excellence for sustainable construction including a physical facility based in the Science and Technology Park at The Bridge, Dartford, delivering appropriate skills to meet the needs of sustainable modern methods of construction as well as becoming a recognised centre for best practice.
The project will be managed and overseen by GKA, with a dedicated Project Manager employed by ProLogis during the building phase and Centre Manager employed by North West Kent College who will operate the new centre. The accountable body for the project will be Dartford Borough Council and GKA is also working closely with colleagues in Kent County Council and SEEDA on this project. The centre will work closely with the Institute for Sustainability that is being established by SEEDA at the Nucleus.
