Under the plans for Thames Gateway, another 18,000 people will move into the area and they will work in an area with high level skills needs.
  Kent Science Resource Centre The Gateway Centre, Queenborough Constuction and Engineering Centre Kent Science Park Support for Swale Learning Westlands School Sittingborne Community College

Plans include:
• The Growth of Kent Science Park as a centre for technology transfer and business incubation
• Establishing new centres for logistics, transport and high level manufacturing
• New infrastructure, including a new bridge to the isle of Sheppey
• The redevelopment of Queenborough and Rushenden
